Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about FAST IPTV.

Which devices are supported?

Currently LG webOS. Further platforms (Android TV, Samsung Tizen) are in development - details on the download page.

How do I activate my device?

On first launch the app shows a device code. You enter it on the activation page to set up your playlist.

What is an M3U playlist?

A text file with a list of channels and their streaming addresses. Your provider usually supplies it as a link (URL), which you store with us. The app loads that file and shows the channels it contains.

What is Xtream Codes?

An interface many providers use to make their offering available. Instead of a ready-made file you store a server address, username and password. The app then queries channels, films and series directly from the provider - split into categories rather than one long list.

Which playlist types does FAST IPTV support?

Two: M3U or M3U8 via URL, and Xtream Codes. In addition you can optionally store your own EPG address in XMLTV format if you want programme information. Local files, for example from a USB stick, are not read.

M3U or Xtream - which is better?

If your provider offers both, Xtream is usually the better choice: films and series appear as separate areas, and programme information arrives without an extra EPG address. An M3U list, by contrast, delivers everything as one continuous channel list.

Where do I get a playlist?

From your own provider. FAST IPTV does not broker providers, does not recommend any and ships no credentials - you simply bring the source you already have.

Are my credentials safe?

They are stored encrypted and cannot be read back through the website - only replaced. You are always shown a masked version only.

Is there a trial?

Yes, every device automatically starts with a 7-day trial, measured on the server.

Can I move the licence to another device?

No. Every licence is deliberately bound to exactly one device - lifetime included. There is no transfer and no recovery function.

Is content provided?

No. FAST IPTV is purely a media player. We do not provide any channels, playlists or video content.

Do I need an account?

No. No registration, no password, no obligation to give a name or email address.

Already have a device?

Enter your device code and set up your playlist.
