Terms and Conditions
As of: August 2026
Note: The legally binding version of these Terms and Conditions is the German text. This English translation is provided for convenience only and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. In the event of any discrepancy, the German version prevails. The purchase flow has been active since 19 August 2026; a legal review is overdue. In particular, the VAT treatment of sales to consumers in other EU countries remains unresolved (see German version for details) and requires advice from a tax professional.
§ 1 Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern all contracts between TODO: Firmenname mit Rechtsformzusatz (oder Vor-/Nachname bei Einzelunternehmen) and consumers within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB) for the purchase of licences for the application "IPTV Player" (hereinafter "the App") in the version applicable at the time of conclusion of the contract.
§ 2 Description of service
The App is a pure media/playlist player for smart TVs. It does NOT supply any content, channels or playlists. Users connect their own source (an M3U playlist or Xtream credentials from a third-party provider). We are not the provider, intermediary or responsible party for any content integrated by users.
§ 3 Conclusion of contract
The presentation of products on the website does not constitute a binding offer but an invitation to purchase. The contract is concluded when you complete the payment process (Stripe Checkout) by pressing the button labelled "order with obligation to pay".
§ 4 Prices and payment
- Annual licence: €5.49 (one-time payment)
- Lifetime licence: €12.99 (one-time payment)
All prices are final prices. No VAT is charged pursuant to § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG) — the provider qualifies as a small business under that provision. Payment is made exclusively via the payment service provider Stripe. The amount payable, the currency and the licence term are determined solely server-side from our product catalogue, never from data supplied by your browser.
§ 5 Device binding of the licence (most important clause)
Every licence is strictly bound to exactly ONE device — technically to an internal device object, not to the device code visible on the TV. This applies including the Lifetime licence. There is:
- no transfer of the licence to another device,
- no recovery mechanism in the event of device loss, failure or factory reset,
- no decoupling from the original hardware.
This is disclosed to you prominently and separately before you complete the purchase.
§ 6 Term
The Annual licence is valid for twelve months from the date of purchase and does not renew automatically — a new purchase is required to continue using the App after expiry. This is not a subscription. The Lifetime licence has no regular expiry date.
§ 7 Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have a right of withdrawal of fourteen days as a matter of principle. That right may lapse early if you expressly agree to the immediate execution of the contract and confirm that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. The complete withdrawal notice is available at /widerruf.
§ 8 Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply. We are not liable for the availability, legality or quality of any content you play back through a third-party source you have connected yourself.
§ 9 Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for damage arising from injury to life, body or health and under mandatory statutory provisions (e.g. the German Product Liability Act). For ordinary negligence, we are liable only for breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Further liability is excluded.
§ 10 Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
§ 11 Final provisions
German law applies. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected. Should any individual provision of these Terms and Conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is not affected.
